Privacy Overview

All personal data collected by our law firm are processed in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation- GDPR)

As a general principle, we process only personal data necessary for the performance of the tasks we undertake in the interest of practicing the legal profession, under Romanian Law 51/1995 on the organization and exercise of the legal profession. We do not transmit any personal data outside the territory of the European Union, we do not transmit any data to third parties other than our collaborators (except for courts and public authorities that request them on a legal basis) and we do not process data for marketing purposes.

The information collected will be accessed only by the employees/ collaborators of our lawyer practice as per the law, ( including trainees and collaborating lawyers), or, as the case may be, by the authorized persons responsible for such processing operations.

According to the law, data subjects whose personal data have been processed by our office may, if they consider the occurrence of any breach in respecting their fundamental rights to privacy, contact the data protection officer (at the email address (comunicari@avocatraihel.ro) or the National Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing.

At the same time, data subjects have the rights provided by the Regulation, such as the right to access the data (according to art. 15 of the GDPR) and to request (according to art. 16 of GDPR ) the rectification of any inaccurate personal data, by sending a written request to the email address mentioned above.
